Despite the 25 M crowd and the traffic (forgot to mention people also walk on the roads because the pavement can be full, badly damaged or just because they want to)
I did not hear one cross word(s!) exchanged, rudeness or any such thing, people are gentle despite the apparent chaos to an outsider.
I have learnt not to be intimidated by the local touts: walked away too quickly from the shuttle bus when dropped off at Cairo, being accusted and followed by a taxi driver.. Had to go back and make sure I knew how to find the bus for the return journy. You gotta igonre what people are suggesting or asking for, slightes hesitation/pause means you are goiing to be pesterd just in case you are interested.
Didnt see much of the 4/5 * hotel yesterday as I was in Cairo.
Today Pyramids visit, Sphinx and camel ride.
At the moment in Giza waiting for minibus to catch the train to Luxor, we are using the facilities in a hotel..
gaffer tape came handy for sealing liquid bottles.
My luggage is gradually expanding , this is not good.
Generally Egyptians appear gentle people except when trying to get some business out of you. enjoyed various tea shops, very very basic and local. good fun
Hope to load up photos soon.
