Bus to Vientien, I dont plan to stop there and change bus from a different bus station straight to LouangPrabang, scenic road reminding very much of Vietnam. Lunch is included at a restaurant on the way but end up paying 5000 Kp for 3 bananas. outside the restaurant there are fruit stall and I buy this thing that is apparantly edible, looks a bit like a corn cob with some kind of a centre. On the bus I understand from the female passangers that it needs to be cooked so I donate it to one of them. I had notice 2 guys that turned out to be my old country people and on the tuktuk to the town centre these guy talked non-stop crap about everything and everyone, nice reminder. I have also bypassed Vanvieng which is apparantly good for tubing (you float down river on an inflated inner tube and drink at every bar on the way, so a major drinking expedition. Another Vanvieng highlight is caves which I was told I can also see around Louang Prabang (not true, small caves with small status of buddha compared to massive caves in Vangvien.
