Antalya

Boasting a privileged location in the south west of Turkey on the Turkish Riviera, Antalya is an up-and-coming tourist destination, rapidly growing and expanding every year. Since this city is becoming increasingly popular amongst travelers, cheap flights to Antalya are fairly easy to come across – whatever time of year you wish to travel.

Antalya enjoys a Mediterranean climate, with hot dry summers from June to September and mild rainy winters from November until March. Although most of the budget flights to Antalya will be available during the winter season, you’ll often be able to snap up some bargains during the sunny summer months as part of last-minute offers and summer sales.

If you do manage to bag some low-cost flights to Antalya, you’ll be spoilt for choice for things to do when you get there. Riding the cable car up to Mount Tahtali and soaking up the 360° panoramic views is a must for scenery lovers, whilst the famous ruins of Phaselis provide hours of fascinating wonder for history buffs and travelers with an interest in architecture.

Of course, a trip to Antalya isn’t complete without soaking up some rays on the beautiful beaches. The city boasts a huge number of sandy havens, where pure white sands stretch on for miles alongside gentle aquamarine waters which lap gently on the shore.

For travelers in search of a bit of nightlife, Antalya is sure to live up to expectations. The best time to experience the unhinged party scene of the city is between June and August when the nightclubs and bars which surround the stylish marina burst into life with all-night parties, music concerts, DJ sets and plenty of dancing.

If you’d rather something a bit more laid-back, you’ll be pleased to hear that the streets of Kaleici offer a much tamer night scene, with international pubs, folk bars and traditional Turkish taverns.
